"Heroes of Azeroth this is a call for reason. We do not deny that our Alliance & Horde have done terrible things to one another. We have ruined a land that tried hide behind mist. We have enslaved one other, treated each other with contempt, betrayed one other other for our misdeeds & judge entire groups for the actions of one, and watch some what helplessly as our world is ravages by the fires of war & hatred. However I implore you now to think, look past our sins and look to our accomplishments done when we have united. We have freed cities, restored faith to the lost, and saved our homes from the flame. We have united against many common yet powerful foes. Archimonde, Arthrus the Litch King & his Scourge, Garrosh Hellscream & his Iron Horde, Deathwing, Kil'jaeden & the Burning Legion. Together we have bested even the Dark Titan Sargeras, and even Old Gods like C'thun & N'zoth & their black empire. WE have done this. Together! Not of Alliance & Not Horde but as people of Azeroth. But as you know...there is always a darkness lingering just beyond our notice. As we pierce the veil of the afterlife and beyond our homes new threats are coming & they maybe the most dangerous of all. I ask you now friend, can you find it in your heart to cast aside old hatreds, forgive past sins, and be willing to fight shoulder to shoulder to continue to save our world?"

How The faction Works:

New players & new characters will have the option to join the Unity faction. Unlike before, all races & jobs will be open to you. For older players with older characters, you will have the option to choose to shed your old faction and join Unity. However it comes with a catch: Once you have chosen to join Unity, as part of the story & lore, That's it. And Game play was wise the game will WARN YOU QUITE CLEARLY that this faction change is permanent. You can continue to be either Team Red & Team Blue if you feel that the change is unnecessary, or that your character is loyal to your preferred faction and to join Unity even with their positive & good intentions is still an act of disloyalty or even agree that the other side can never be trusted & will only work with them because you have no other choice.

Why this faction:

Well as my grandiose speech implies, I know some players who are in some ways sick of the need to shoe horn in the constant in fighting between the two factions, the Battle for Azeroth storyline many felt they weren't as excited as Legion. We just united our factions & our Order Halls to help save the world from the Legion and even defeated the Warcraft equivalent of the DEVIL and met the Titans OUR GODS THAT CREATED US...and now you wanna pick a fight over something shiny? The hell? No...we're done.

Plus a lot of us players & fans (myself included) are also kind of tired of other fans toxicity. Too many are there players who are blind by their own faction that they aren't even willing to listen to the other parts of the story to explain why things are the way they are because ERMEHGERD FACTION WAR! SIDE WITH RED SIDE WITH BLUE BUT YOU BETTER PICK MY TEAM OR I'LL BE THE DEATH OF YOU! RAAAHHH! It's gets old. And it's sad, because we have seen from the end of classic Warcraft 3 to as recent as Legion and even a bit more that we have done so much more good working together. Heck the whole plot of N'zoth & the olds is that they want us to fight among ourselves because they know & fear of what we can do. That we would be so preoccupied with fighting each other that there would be few precious left to stop them. So I like many others would like to have faction that says "Give peace a chance. Can't all just get along? Why can't we be friends?"

Because you gotta ask yourself one question: Is Azeroth the last titan & the very home you stand on, your allies that you claim to be loyal to, your friends, and by your own lore: family...worth less than your wounded pride? Are you truly a hero willing save our world, or are you merely a solider willingly to blindly follow what your Legion demands?
