Played the mod a bit before. the AISN Bast is just so freaking cool. Best rec-destroyer ever.
The USN Ranger is probably my other favorite.
And all the assault ships. Likely from reading banner of the stars, but I truly enjoy the tactical flexibility of the things.

the collection and designs are simply awesome, but i cant help but wonder, they are all "complex" high resolution models right, not simple textured objects?

these are all game models with no modifications. <3000 poly most of em, dif, bump, spec, luma and alhpa.

I can model... but I really wish I could come up with some decent designs like these, they're "teh awesome", my ship/aircraft/mecha design skills just suck :/
On a side note... have you ever heard of X3: Reunion? (Space sim) - it'd be awesome to see some of these converted (Or re-created if the polycount/texture resolution is a bit wonky for closeups) to be usable in X3

I was about to say "And the awesome thing about this is I can point to the Pride cruiser and say "I did that"", but then I noticed the Pride is backwards compared to the rest of the AISN lineup.
