For *lizkay .One of these days I've got to choose a different artist to do giftarts for... but I guess one never forgets their first real fave artist.
So quite simply this is an Okami-styled rendition of gryphen Lizkay.
(Try a search for "Okami gryphon" sometimes, the results are quite few)
I might've forgotten to stripe her wings... meh, oh well.
Merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year's.
Prismacolors on 9x12", took about 3 hours.
Major fun with a brush Micron, and apparently this is what happens when you forget to sharpen the Verithins. I could've shaded it darker, but the inking was awesome as is and I didn't want to distract from it.

This year I have three artworks plus five photos ready for exhibition (and one week ahead of time, too!). I've started re-using some of the mattes/frames from previous years
TCF seriously needs to update their rules on photography though, that section has been flooded for the past two years (And I should still have some photos from last year lingering in my gallery somewhere)...

I like the wings! I've never played Okami, but I have seen loads of fanart for it, and I love your rendition.
Lizkay is probably one of my favourite artists, too- along with BeastOfOblivion and DarkNature5000.
