This is a shot from the first time that I wore my Lisa costume way back at Katsucon 2009. I love the funky lighting effect. I'm embarrassed to say, but at that point I hadn't played the very first Silent Hill game. I just really liked Lisa's character design so I made the costume with very few reference images to base it on. I mistook the length of the dress and made it way too short. XD I re-did the skirt part of the dress a couple months after the con and hid the adjustment under the belt so it's accurate now. I have a few really lovely shots from Katsu care of SolarTempest so I thought I should at least post a couple. I guess this could kind of be Silent Hill Origins Lisa. My hair is just a tad long.I really love this costume. It turned out so nicely. I'm so glad the costume pattern that I used worked out. I'm thinking of making a Silent Hill 3 Nurse costume next year. It's been on my to-do list for years and I think I might use this pattern again for that costume.
I love the fact that my mother knit me my lovely red sweater. It's my favourite aspect of the costume and means a lot to me. :3 It really kept me warm at Katsucon. We did this photoshoot outside at night and this con happened in mid-February so I was freezing. XD I can't believe my nose isn't red in every photo. lol

Thanks! <3 Cosplaying a Demon Nurse has been something I've hoped to do for years. I think at this point I'm going to attempt to do it whenever I can fit it into my con schedule for next year. Mostly it's the makeup work for it that really scares me. I'm totally clueless when it comes to horror makeup, but I think it's about time that I experiment and learn how to do it. (^^) I see how much fun people seem to have Cosplaying Silent Hill monster characters and I'm looking forward to experiencing it too. :3

Thanks so much! I really love this costume. Lisa is a really tragic and interesting character in Silent Hill. I really enjoyed the Cosplay photoshoots that I did for this costume. (^_^)

Lisa is from the first game which is really hard to play now because it's a Playstation game and the graphics are pretty blocky. I recommend most people start playing Silent Hill games from the 2nd one because it's really the high achievement of the franchise. If you ever get a chance you should play a couple of the games. They're really interesting and pretty creepy to play at night.

Oh, duly noted. Tell me about it. I can't stand to look at anything from the PS1 that has "models". That was the one recommended to me by several people. A friend of mine is a HUGE survival horror fan and it's his personal favorite game. I'd definitely check out SH2 if I could. Perhaps one day I will.

Do check out Silent Hill 2 when you get a chance. I think you would actually make a wicked James who is the protagonist from the game. He's a very intriguing character. :3

Why do I get the feeling you suggest the cosplay just to mess with me? He has mini-Leon Hair lol. I see, cosplay him earlier in a year, then keep growing it until Leon. Costume seems simple enough, I could rock it. I will do my best to play the game.

If I happen to have a friend that's kind of perfect for Cosplaying a character I like to poke them about it. I especially love poking people to Cosplay from Silent Hill games. I never thought about it before, but really you have the right build and look for James. You totally should do it sometime and yeah, it's a pretty simple costume. SH Cosplay makes for epic photoshoots. :3 I just love Silent Hill 2. I could go on about it all day. Play it when the HD collection comes out later this month. I need to marathon the game with people since it's not that long and with the HD improvement to the graphics, people can appreciate it more.

Makes sense. It's how I got into my dtac cosplay. If someone looks right for the part, why not do it and see how it turns out. So I'm totally on board for doing this. You name the time and place and I'm there
