Just a marker test illustration, based on a story I'm writing for college work :>Those animal silhouettes (the Guardians themselves) aren't supposed to look villainous, though they may come off that way here.
I tried a slightly more realistic style, rather than my usual style, to depict Laura the main character. She's supposed to be fourteen- I think I accidentally made her look older than that here...
Simple composition, but it came out better than I thought it would.
Edited the dark areas in photoshop a bit, since the scanner always lightens the black ink so much >:I

I'd say Laura looks a little over fourteen, but it's not too bad.
I think the wolf looks rather peaceful really.
