name: Leah

Hair: Shoulder Length, Brown

Eyes: Dark Green

Weapon: She refuses to carry a gun, but later she'll end up being given one

Clothes: Turquoise T-Shirt, Dark Blue Baggy Jeans and Blue converse

Back Story: She was just a normal 10 year old girl who went to school and lived with her family, her mother Clair, her father Paul and her older brother James

((just to clarify i haven't really figured out where she lives because Kenny and his family basically saved her and Kenny lives in Florida, but at the time of the outbreak Kenny and his family were returning from a visit to Katjaa's sister who lives in Tennessee so.. shall we say she lives in Florida and Kenny found her somewhere along the lines of leaving Tennessee?))

It was a really pretty day to bad i was stuck in my room, my mommy and daddy weren't letting me out my room i didn't know why though. Every time i tried getting down the stairs my mom would yell at me and tell me to go back to my room i hadn't done anything bad... well at least i think i didn't, well i didn't want to be in here all day so i quietly made my way down the stairs. As soon as i got to the last step my mom came running to me and yelled

"What did i tell you? I said stay in your room!!"

"Why are you keeping me up their have i done something wrong?"

My mom sighed and put her hand on her head

"No sweetie... its just something bad is happening outside we just want you in your room until we figure something out"

"What's happening that's so bad?"
"Nothing just go back to your room"
"Mom please let me stay downstairs! Can i at least go get something to eat?"
"Fine but stay away from the windows"

i gave my mom a funny look and nodded my head, why did she want me away from the windows? Oh well i walked through the living room and into the kitchen, i peeked into the living room and saw my mom, dad and big brother watching the news, the news man was saying you need to lock your windows and doors and dont let them bite you and you must hit the brain. What the heck was he talking about?... my brother spotted me and said

"Leah get away!"

My dad stepped in and said

"Leah come here we need to speak"
I walked into the living room and said
"Im not in trouble right?"
"Of course not"
"Then what?"
"Okay, there is some dangerous stuff going on outside there's very bad monsters out there and we need to stay quiet okay?"
"Monsters?... what kind of monsters?"
"It doesn't matter, just promise me you'll stay here and stay quiet?"
"Yeah.. i promise! but can i get something to eat i'm really hungry"
"Yeah, go ahead"

I ran into the kitchen and looked in the fridge then heard a loud squealing kind of noise, it sounded like my dog. I ran up to the window and opened the curtains a little, my eyes widened there was a lot of those monsters in my back yard they were eating my puppy! I ran to the back door opened it and screamed
"No!"

All the monsters turned and looked at me then slowly started to limp their way towards me, i was shaking and i froze up i couldn't move then something grabbed me from behind i didn't know what it was and i started struggling and screaming till i looked up, it was my dad he was looking at me and i could tell he was angry, he pushed me into the living room and slammed the back door shut. Those monsters were banging on the back door, some were even at the front door. My dad then yelled

"James go get that base ball bat you have and then two of your golf clubs!"
My brother raised an eye brow and said
"No way! do you know how priceless they are?"
"Get them now!"

My brother ran up the stairs and to his room, my mom looked as if she were about to cry
"Mom, i'm sorry.. i didn't mean to.."
"I told you to stay quiet Leah! And so did your dad! do you ever listen!?" she yelled right in my face

now i think i was about to cry i turned around and sat on the sofa, then my brother came running down the stairs here dad! He gave my dad two golf clubs while he was holding a base ball bat. Then my dad gave my mom a golf club and said

"Remember, hit the brain"
"What? You don't expect me to do this.. do you?"
"No i don't but we don't really have a choice do we?"

i looked at my dad and said

"Dad! what about me?"
"Just stay close to us okay?"
"Uh okay"
"Now everyone listen we're going to go outside and run to the car okay?"

We all nodded, i was so scared what the heck was happening. My dad walked over to the door and put his hand on the door handle, my mom took my hand and we walked over to the door with my brother next to us, then my dad opened the door to the nightmare the world had become, we all ran outside my dad was whacking monsters with the golf club and my brother was doing the same with the bat, but my mom wasn't doing anything she was just holding onto me. We got to the car and my dad shouted
"Keys! now!"

My mom was shaking as she raided her purse for the car keys then one of those monsters came up behind us and grabbed my mom's hair, pulled her back and bit her neck i screamed in horror and she wouldn't let go of my hand
"No!! No! Mom!!" i screamed trying to tug away

My brother grabbed me and pulled me away and then grabbed my mom's purse, by now there was about 4 walkers eating my mom, my dad took my mom's purse, got the keys and unlocked the car
"Get in now!!" he shouted
"But what about Mom?!" my brother screamed
"There isn't time!" my dad said while throwing me in the back seat
My brother got in the front seat while my dad drove as fast as he could.
"I can't believe you just left her!" i screamed while crying

But my dad didn't answer, i was crying so loudly my vision was going blurry from all the tears, i then looked at my dads arm i saw blood dripping down from under his sleeve, i leaned in and lifted up his sleeve and gasped my dad pushed me back and said
"What are you doing?!"
"You were bitten!"
My brother said
"What?!"

My dad just kept driving and didn't say a word but he then stopped the car and said
"James take the car and get your sister out of here"
"What?...what about you?"
"Just go! there isn't time for me okay?!"
"But dad!!"
"Do as i say!!" my dad said as he got out the car
I then shouted
"Dad no please don't leave us!"
My dad sighed and said
"Kids... i love you both okay? please don't forget that, James get your sister out of here"
My brother nodded and got in the drivers seat, my dad shut the door and my brother drove, i was totally speechless i was trying to process what the heck just happened
My brother drove to this really busy area and said
"We have to go and get uh food"
"But the monsters are out there!"
"Yeah but there is people here to, don't worry they're killing them see?"
"Uh..okay"

Me and my brother got outside and ran to one of those convenience stores, my brother grabbed whatever he could find and nudged me as we ran out the store i had some things in my hands and as i was running i tripped and yelled
"James!!"
He turned back and looked and me and looked around and said
"I'm sorry"
He turned around and just ran to the car and got in and drove
"No!!! No!! No...no!"
i kept repeating my self crying, then one of those things jumped on me trying to sink its teeth into me i was trying to push it away until someone ran up and knocked it off me, a man was looking down at me he grabbed my hand and said
"C'mon!"
i didn't even think i just went with him i got into his car and there was other people there a woman and a kid about my age. The man who saved me drove at full speed just hitting everything in his way. The man was named Kenny and the woman was his wife Katjaa and their son Kenny Jr or Duck, if you like.
