Description
This is the template for you to create your own Reflections icons. It is a Photoshop CS3 file.The font I used is Myriad Pro which is a payware font. I think that you can find some free similar fonts around the web, but you will have to search for them
Together with this file you will find a pack of actions for automating the creation of your icons.
Fisrt action "Guardar" is for saving your file as a .png. It will also create a mask for the icon.
Second action "invert" is what I used to create the white versions (I always start with the black ones).
You can use this template to create as many icons as you wish, but only for your personal use. It is not allowed to use for commercial purposes.
Publishing or distributing the icons you create with this template requires permission from me. My answers are usually positive on this regard but I like to see the work befero it is released.
Finally, if you really liked the Reflections collection, please respect its Golden Rule:
A maximum of four letters, always in Capitals.

Hey man, love your work and thanks for sharing! Only issue is I can't use the actions in CS4, which is a shame since I'm trying to make white icons...

Thanks for your comment! To change your icons to the white version simply "invert" the image... it's on the "image/adjustments" menu.

If you plan to update again one day, make sure you'll add some generally stuff like "Burn" oder "Rec" (for Recording Programs) , something for Miranda and other popular MMs .. and maybe some more games ...

Sorry but you're direct are not very clear... what are we supposed to do with the .DS_Store? or the Reflections.atn? Please help!

.DS_Store is for Mac OS X, not Windows. The Reflections.atn file is the "action" for Photoshop CS3. If you double-click on it it should open a blank photoshop file and give you access to the actions.

I figured out what to do with the files, but when I choose invert, the top layer named TEXT gives me the reply of "The command "Invert" is currently not available."

Can anyone help me create my own icons using this master? I'm not that familiar with Photoshop and the instructions are confusing to noobs. Love the way that these icons look, but many are missing. It would be great to create my own on the fly.

Hello, I was wondering, how exactly do you get the reflections to work?
On guardar, it goes through everything and then it still had the "ABCD" under the text I typed.

The reflection layer is just a text layer, so you need to type the letter combination of your choice in both the normal layer and the reflection on. Then you can run the action to save it.
