Steve overheard whispers that some of his old friends and league mates from Submission Fight Corps were branching out into other styles.
Wanting to try it, but not wanting to put himself in harms way with some of the more vicious heels he used to work with, Steve gave a call his trusted old friend and training partner, Drew.
After chewing Steve out for not calling him in almost two months, Drew noted he too wanted to get some pro action in. The two made plans. Steve booked a flight down from Canada and the two hit the ring, going rounds with each other while catching up.
Drew complemented Steve on his gold wrestling boots. "It's so you. OF COURSE they would be gold!" He chuckled.
If absence made the heart grow fonder, the two realized it now. Drew was ever proud of how Steve had gone from a jobber to his rival on the mats, even in a new style.
