Since people have been asking about how I do this, I decided to make a tutorial! I hope it helps :3 It's my first tutorial.If anyone has questions, don't be afraid to ask!

i dont get how to do step 2/3. when i make a new layer and i colour in the eye, i cant see the lines in the eye anymore

gr8 tutorial but i am having a problem with step 2... what do u mean by change it to colour... change blend mode to colour dodge or colour burn or just something else ^_^ fantastic work too!

I'm guessing he used photoshop. Just guessing, though. I'm sure you could do it with GIMP2 but I don't know how.

I have a question, how do you change the original picture from colour to black and white? like in the tutorial. I've been trying this but so far it's quite off yours lol, it looks rather silly at the moment

I was excited to use this but I can't find where the brush's hardness is! I'm using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 ....

Have you tried right-clicking when you have the brush tool selected? It should look like this then: [link]

Mine only has Master Diameter, it doesn't have hardness under it

Oh! Yes it does! You gotta click on brushes on the upper right hand corner and click Brush Tip Shape and Hardness is near the bottom of that window. Thanks!
