Beautiful
Love how sharp her features are
weathered sullen eyes yet remarkably potent
The colors... love the colors, dark bold yet seductive alluring
A wicked darkened rose
Very sensual very evil
Wonderful painting

Scary woman! Great take on Bellatrix. She kind of reminds me of the beldam from Neil Gaiman's "Coraline" (that's meant as a compliment, believe me). Still so undoubtably Bellatrix-ish and the medium/way of colouring kicks ass.

Thanks, she is a nasty piece of work, and thoroughly enjoyable to paint.

She is indeed! Talking to poor Neville the way she did on Order...
Nicely brush strokes on it! The only thing i would like seeing better worked here are the eyes... but i know they are terrible to get right... specially in acrylic. I Love acrylic!

Absolutely agree with you there. Eyes (and other small bits) are really difficult to render with Acrylic! I'm with you though, I love the medium even if it can be a sod sometimes. I used to really like oils for the blending, but it takes ages to dry and I don't have the patience.

The same here. I've done only one figure in acrylic, and mostly "abstracts"... not really abstracts, but i don't know how to call them...
But i really like the final and quick results... the waiting kills me.
