Description
Ahahahaaaa!!!This is a still of the Joker threatening Rachel in the upcoming movie The Dark Knight. Painted from an image I found somewhere on'tinternet.
I have to say, I wasn't hugely impressed with the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the beginning, but frankly he's grown on me and now I can't wait to see what he does with the character. I reckon he'll do a cracking job.
All rights Warner Bros etc...
Da na na na na na naaa Batman!!!
Acrylic on canvas. Funnily enough, crapscan was in a good mood

Thank you so much. I've always preferred acrylic over other mediums, sometimes blending is difficult because it dries so quickly but then it's drying time is the reason I prefer it to oils.

I feel the exact same way. The challenge also allows you to delve into different styles unintentionally- which you've done well. Thank you for replying.

It's amazing how completely different he is behind the make-up. He did do a cracking job on that role, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Crapscan has more personalities than the Joker..sometimes it's nice to me, sometimes it buggers off to the twilight zone, other times it's like HAL with attitude. Thankfully crapscan didn't foul this pic up.

Hats off to you for turning Ledger's Joker back more to the traditional looking Joker. Even though Ledger's Joker was such an outstanding performance, his version was visually not the same Joker from the books. It is the purple suit, gloves, greenish hair and fully painted face from the comics that fans recognize. By treating the picture this way, you gave the scene your touch and the viewers an indelible image to remember this great movie, powerful performance, and a great villain! Good job!
