I'm also aware that there's a bunch of gaps in the coloring and whatnot... but that's okay haha. I wasn't really concerned with looks over info this time (there's probably also typos ahahaha *dies again*)

THINGS I FORGOT TO INCLUDE:

-Rimans also exhibit the dark pigmentation mutation similar to Andalians- though Rimans tend to have thicker and less obvoius stripes, which mostly makes it look like their entire back and shoulders are darker than the rest of their bodies

-Having canine teeth that develop into sharpened points is common in Pergs and Rahnens

-Albinnism is extremely rare, since Bast was previously mostly desert and albino people rarely lived long enough to reproduce.

-Mortan eyes are literally the most dominant eye trait in Bast; they pretty much override any other eye trait, even if the Mortan in your blood is pretty diluted.

-Rimans are rarely able to survive in dry environments

-Past the colder climates, dark skin is dominant in every race

... there's other things that I haven't thought of yet, ehe

.. Anyway these are the general characteristics for the races you can find on Bast. Eye color range, examples of skin tone, and average height, as well as general features.

As a sidenote, the tallest person on Bast right now is 8'5", and the shortest adult is about 3'2". People tend to be on the taller side compared to earth.

Race on Bast is classified by continent. I didn't include the other islanders or Trochiums because they're really a mish mosh of these basic races. Also of note, mezzo-Soltians are a lot more common, as well as half-Cortic-half-sumic, but their features aren't as distinctive.

Most of the countries, especially those on Sutil, are made up of a huge mix of peoples (because of the whole travel/trade thing), and the fact that it's only been a few hundred years that the sea levels have been this high, so the continents used to be pretty much connected.

Due to the importance of travel and trade, there's a lot of race-mixing that happens so... yeah. Obviously these are very general characteristics, though the eye color and skin tone range should be followed when making a purebred person.

Soo if it isn't obvious by how they look (ehe), a few examples of the races are Jo, who is almost purely a Perg, Eliot who is a Rahnen, Grant is a mezzo-Soltian, and Fuu is primarily Andalian. ect, ect

Like I said, race-mixing in pretty much every fashion is pretty common, so mixing and matching traits happens a lot. Generally speaking, someone's race doesn't really affect much besides their physical characteristics; the culture they grew up in determines most of your personality.

So if anyone was(?) interested in sticking their oc in here, what race/race mix would they be? : D

As a last sidenote, unlike on earth where skin tone difference is a huge deal, it's not so much on Bast- people there have been aware of the reason for the differences for a long time (climate and all that jazz). A point of discrimination in some cultures actually comes from eye color- especially those that emphasize racial purity (those had pretty much fallen out of style though)
