Trying to get used to doing inks again. Doing all the books took bloody ages. Next up: simple backgrounds.Feel free to color if you want, just link back to the original.

This is lovely. The white expanse of the dress stands out beautifully against the more detailed background. You do exactly enough with the ink without doing anything approaching too much. It's really effective.

I coloured this [link] I do hope you like it. It took a lot to colour as I can imagine it took a lot to ink. I just fell in love with this image.
(Sorry I had to almost obliterate your scrolls in order to make the spider web stand out the way I wanted it to.)

Wow, my first color! As far as I know anyway. Great job, you had awesome patience with the books, I really symphatize. Awesome you liked the image enough to color it, I was a little doubtful anyone would be interested as it's not that character centric.

This is awesome! In my most recent painting, I had several bookshelves, though with fewer books than this, and it took forever! And my books didn't even have this much detail. I completely admire how much time and patience this must have taken. Great composition too!
So, behind the lower spiderweb, are those eggs, eyeballs, or something else? I can't figure it out, and my imagination is running wild.

Thanks! Actually, they're supposed to be rolled up scrolls (magiiiiic scrolls). I guess I really didn't make that clear enough, blaaah.

Oh! I totally see that now. Whew! That's a relief. I like scrolls far better than spider eggs and eyeballs. Stupid overactive imagination! I think you probably made it clear enough... I just see cobwebs and spiderwebs and assume the worst!
