Description
You want complex like the universe? Here ya go! XDThis has to be my most complex design so far. I've been working on this little beasty for two months now, making a bunch of concept sketches until I found something that I liked. Did a lot of brainaching thinkwork for this one, how it lives, moves eats etc XD And dang, it's hard but I'm happy on how it turned out. I tried a different look for the sheet, that explains the use of monocolors and it looked better this way.
And I still need to make two pieces for it, because it's a contest entry for the Golden contest held at with the theme: 'Complex like the universe' and you can make three entries for the same race.
Oh and, this is the piece that made my computer as slow as hell yesterday. XDD Huge file is huge! x3
And I wanted to type some more here but I forgot what...

This is fantastic, I love how you use the designs of deep sea creatures for deep space creatures. I feel sorry that the pirates hunt, destroy, and use the cores
of these beings to power their spaceships. Is there a Xhepholi conservation movement? Save the Xhepholi!

Freaky, and cool! I've made a lot of different space-y critters but this one is definitely out there, and probably more thought out than what I tend to come up with. XD
I am curious though how smart are they?

really an awesome work. I think it represents perfectly the theme of the contest.
the drawings are spectacular and the informations are very detailed. you certainly worked for a long time on it. in my opinion you really deserve to reach at least the second place - but let's hope you'll reach the first!

Two spelling mistakes (or typos, probably) I spotted when I skimmed through the texts are
''lenght" instead of "length"
and "circel" instead of "circle"

Wow! Such a brilliantly original idea, I love it! The 'core' is a really interesting concept too and I like the idea of them being hunted for it (well, not like it persay but you know what I mean XD) kinda like the way whales were hunted in the 19th century.

Fantastic concept, I like both the flowy design and the details about the creature's body. Some more details on personality and 'everyday life' would be ok, too x)
