Three deviations in one day! I KNOW! Crazy...This should not have taken as long as it did to finish. I've had the first two panels done for ages, and I just got the other ones done a week ago or something. Sooooo stupid.
Anyway, this is a continuation of a cracked out script that my friend and I wrote in our heads last summer. Emmett continues his quest to inject more manliness into his brothers. (Don't worry, they'll show up again in the next one.)
Coupla notes:
1.) Chuck Norris is Emmett's god.
2.) "Lil' Sister Woman" is from The Soup, and I am dying a quiet death inside because I can't find it on YouTube.
3.) Emmett in the second panel really makes me want to
him. GAH HE SO HOT. 4.) Emmett with a gun was definitely inspired by 's version: [link]
5.) Dude. Emmett practically grew up right next to me. I know several McCartys! And I know there are about a frillion bears in the Smoky Mountains. And you can bet Emmett knows how to use a gun.
6.) There is only one man worth my respect from NASCAR, and that is the original Dale Earnhardt.

AWESOME. I totally understand what you mean about the movies. All the hype can just sort of make it harder to remember what you liked about it in the first place! That's why I like when people make fanart of their own interpretations of the characters instead of the movie versions. It's not that I don't like the movies, but it's just a very different story than what's in the books. *ends rambling comment* I'm glad you like the comic.

Yeah, I read the first one right before the movie came out, but seeing it made me not want to read the rest (but I did!). They were quite good, but in my opinion I hated the movies with a deep dark passion. I hate the actors and actresses, really.
