Description
Someone requested this recently, so decided to make it available for download for those who want to use the corvid-style feather pattern I designed. It requires Illustrator to print properly, which is it's only downside, though you can download & use the 30-day trial to use it for free.
EDIT 8/20/2014: So, didn't realize that objects not on an artboard proper don't show up for some of you, so fixed that & also made a PDF version for those who don't wanna bother with Illustrator or want to have it printed full-size on a large printer like Fedex/Kinkos.
EDIT 12/26/2020: Here's an alternate link to the PDF version, for folks whose browsers give them trouble.
This is best used in conjunction with my Realistic Wing Tutorial .
Enjoy~

Pattern based on my first crows wings, here's a newer set made using this pattern.

There is nothing on the face of the planet that I love more than birds, And your tutorial makes me so happy. Probably the most anatomically correct wings I've ever come across. I hope my wings turn out right!

For everyone working from a pdf, to get the sizes right, copy each pdf page into paint shop, go to page setup (print/page set up) and under scaling set Fit to to 2 by 4 pages, then print from paint shop. This worked for me at any rate.

No worries, it's usually on the right-hand side of the screen, either immediately right of the image or below it on the page right of the description.

The PDF version has only 6 Pages but in the title there are 8 pages... I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Bwuh? *checks*
Oh, I see - there are 6 PDF pages, but each of those is equal to 8 normal-sized printer pages. Sorry for the confusion...

How do you use it if you don't have illustrator?

I've included a link to a PDF in the description, but here's a link just for you sta.sh/02bz0dz3z81o
PDF's can be opened, saved as images, or printed directly, though it may be a bit trickier to get it to print on a home printer as separate pages that can be put together. Print shop can definitely do something with it though~
I'll look into rendering at separate pages that anyone can print, so keep an eye out!

Heeeeej!
I really love your tutorial! I'm also working on them thanks to you :3
I only have a problem, since this document seems way too big. I printed them all out in AI, but the 1-inch test cube makes up for about 2 inches :s The feathers are way too big like this
Do you have any idea on how I could change the settings so they're the right size?
The printsettings are all the same so far.
Sorry for bothering you!

Ok, so I've uploaded some new files, try again & see if they work! And only print the page with the test cube, to save on ink.

I'm having a little bit of difficulty- I have AI CS6 and when I open the file I'm only seeing feather #12 showing up. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry for my ignorance if I am!
