11/12/13: FINALLY updated recommended stringing-material, braided cord bunches up in tight spaces, 3/4-inch Ribbon is MUCH better and still strong~

This is a really brilliant tutorial; it almost makes me want to make a set of wings! But I don't have the time... at least I know it's there now! Great job; keep it up. I can't wait for parts 5 and 6!

I can't wait until the whole tutorial is done! I really want to make one of these. I'm always amazed at people who do tutorials like this because it's so complicated yet you make it so easy to understand.

Maybe - you'd have to replace feathers with connected fabric, but the opening-closing mechanism would remain the same. Go for it!
