+ By touching the index and middle fingers of one of his hands to any form of technology, Toshi is able to 'mine' its software and hardware data. After he's fully loaded everything, he is able to understand and remotely control the technology's software and hardware functions.
+ He is able to activate his quirk through sight, but it takes a significantly longer time to finish mining data through sight alone.
+ His quirk functions more efficiently with an available active Wi-Fi signal.

Limitations:
- Toshi's control radius for mined technology is 10 meters. Once it leaves that radius, he has no control over it.
- His quirk does allow him to provide power to something he's controlling if it has no internal or external power source of its own, but it takes a significant amount of energy out of him that can only be replenished by eating a lot of food.
- It can take a fairly large amount of time for Toshi to fully mine the data from technology that is either physically large, or that has especially complex software.

Primary Course Focus: Reconnaissance

Support Equipment:
+ Suction Gloves: the palms of his suit have small suction panels. The suction isn't strong enough to support his weight or anything, but it helps him keep his hands attached to something he's trying to use his quirk on.
+ Wi-Fi headset: his headpiece is basically just a fancy hot spot to help with his quirk!
+ Boosted Boots: the bottoms of his boots help to boost his movements just a bit with compressed air, so that he has an easier time dodging and jumping. They are also nice and sturdy to help him with blocking attacks.
+ Gauntlets: the gauntlets on his arms are strong enough to block a number of attacks (since he isn't himself.)
+ Bolas: each gauntlet has one bola loaded inside of it that he can shoot at a villain's legs to try and temporarily limit their ability. (They aren't exactly the strongest, though, so it certainly is temporary.)
+ Each piece of equipment has a chargable internal power source, and a gauge screen that he can see to keep track of how much power they have left. The pouches on his belts are full of calorie dense snacks he can scarf down in case he ever has to power something up himself.

Personality:

Toshi is, to put it simply, a little bit all over the place. He has a tendency to be scatterbrained, ranging from jumping from topic to topic in conversation without warning to constantly misplacing things. He's often forgetful when it comes to small things like this, and has a bad habit of shrugging it off even when it causes trouble for himself or others -- luckily, since it's usually less important things that he forgets, it doesn't create too much trouble most of the time. Part of forgetfulness stems from a short attention span.

His habit of jumping topics is made worse by how simply talkative he is. Conversations with him can unintentionally turn one sided if his conversation partner can't keep up with him, but he seems to either not notice or not care; it's hard to tell which. Toshi can be a bit eccentric at times, and while these eccentricities show through his overzealous speech and body language, they can most clearly be seen in his suspicious demeanor -- rather than being a suspicious person, he often finds himself suspicious of others and their intentions. Because of this, he becomes very nosy about people, things, events, and anything else he can stick his nose into to try and get to the truth. He also tends to come off as a bit high strung.

Even though he harbors these wayward suspicions and worries about everything around him, Toshi takes it upon himself to go out into the world and overcome these anxieties through force. He has a much easier time managing his focus issues and overall... Well... Issues, whenever he's out helping through his hero work. There's something about the way people cheer him on and depend on him that pushes him through it all!

History:

In his childhood, Toshi spent a large amount of time to himself, having a difficult time connecting with the other kids in his class. His quirk was discovered when he realized he could control his Tamagotchi pets from across the room after holding them for a short amount of time.

As he grew, so did his understanding of the complexities and conditions of his quirk. As it were, there was a lot to figure out, and since his quirk dealt so heavily with technology, Toshi surrounded himself with it, which his moms -- one a stay at home mom and the other a communications director for an international support company -- were plenty happy letting him do.

Spending his childhood focusing on developing his quirk, Toshi decided in his early teens that he'd go into creating support equipment for heroes, just like his mom.

While his focus was on support equipment, Toshi also enjoyed using his quirk to engage in the hobby of DJing and mixing music. Living so close to places like Shibuya and Shinjuku, he would often sneak off to perform in different small venues. He actually managed to gain a bit of a following, both in those communities and online! Unfortunately, at the age of 14, he was forced to move to Maryland with his parents when one of his moms was promoted to an overseas position.

Now attending school in America, Toshi continued his hobby of DJing and engaging with EDM concerts. It was at one of these concerts, when a villain attempted to stir up trouble, that he realized he could use his quirk for a lot more, after he successfully overloaded the villain's support equipment before a hero was able to arrive.

After earning praise from the incident, Toshi's plans quickly changed, and he changed his goals from creating support equipment to pursuing a career as a hero. He was able to find an internship after high school, and after success in it, decided to go out on a limb and apply to Shuyler University.

Extras:
+ The face masks are completely aesthetic. He has a severe habit of biting and chewing on his lips, which makes them very chapped and bloody, so he prefers to keep his mouth covered up.
+ Toshi still DJs when he can, and uses his hero name for it. A lot of his fan base are people who like his music as much as his heroics!
+ He has a slight stutter.
+ He's very into conspiracy theories of all kinds.
