Description
Reference of the horse is a picture I took of Duchess - a part arab full sister to my grey mare whom my Dad has currently. Tree and bushes also referenced from picture sof the property where I live.About 25 hours so far, on and off. Genius table, Corel Painter essentials.

8X6 with a 1024 sensitivity pen and mouse. Cost me 80 dollars but didn't come with great software of course. If you already have software you like - no worries then.

IM SOO speechless.. How in the world did you do this? Everything is amazing. So MUCH detail! Very thing is like PERFECT. and it only took you 25 hours?? Wow! Did you use a round pixel brush? or what kinds of brushes did you use?

I only ever use a digital airbrush with vcarying opacities and sizes. I know there are a lot of other digital tools that would make my life easier, but I am too stuck in my ways to change now lol.

Your horses are amazing! I know TONS of people would love you forever if you made a tutorial or a walkthrough

If you want - look in my Closeup/WIP folder - I have some text and closeups of how I do my work. There is no secret - or special brushes or anything like that. I just use a lot of zoom and individually paint all the details in using a digital airbrush.

oh my goodness... usually i can look at a picture and get an idea of what happened to produce the end result but the detail on that horse o_o i cant pick it out.

To be honest , I never really look at digital art very often , but wow !!!This caught my eye and had to look !! I love this . I love horses they are such majestic animals !And you caught it well here ! great job !

This is gorgeous! I love the brightness in the horse's expression and the early autumn feel I get from the picture. I love the use of golds to accent the background and the horse's coat

Holy Crappiness...this is amazing, awesome, stunning, incredible..and I could go on for a while.
I had to take a double take though...I couldn't believe that is was real until I zoomed in with my mouse.
And here I thought I could draw some horses...yeaaaah..No.
