This is so good ! its hard to find the right words,you know how a good piece of music makes the hairs on your arm stand up?
well this image does the same for me.it makes my eyes water with emotions,something that hardly ever happens 
I read w whole article about this,with the rights and all to produce it.
And i personally think it would be a great tragedy if i will never be able to purchase this...

I know I've felt that before while listening to music, but if you got that from this statue it's got to be the best compliment I've received about it. Β Thanks so much and I'm glad you read the story and know what happened. Β I've still got it and I plan to finish up a few things before showing any other pictures. Β All the drama surrounding it sort of killed the hobby for me for a while, but obviously I've been back at it for a while . Β : )

Thanks! Β Super sculpey firm. Β You can get it at most hobby stores and the head was made out of castilene...sort of similar to a combo of wax and clay.

I still want this brother and would love to paint one!! And yes Lou does get 20 bucks for an auto and pic with him. But can say that he was a pretty cool dude and when my wife and I came back the next year he actually remembered us and didn't charge us for a pic with him! But Buck Roggers did! What an ass hole. Just kidding he was a nice guy to. You should check it out it's an experience every comic lover should have at least once. Hit me back sometime brother and still looking for a kit from you my man?Β

wouldn't worry about the drama. We all know that's over. Like I said Chris, it would be great to see one nicely painted. He was my Hulk growing up and you did an excellent sculpt of him.

Yeah, I hear ya. Β I would always watch the reruns as a kid...I mostly remember on holidays from school or when I was sick, watching these episodes with my dad. Β I was always so excited to see him transform and kick a bad guy's ass! Β Now I watch it and really appreciate bill bixby's performance...Really good show!

For me it was a tea time show on a Saturday as a kid.
Β I recently saw the film, Β 'Death Of the Hulk' on CBS freesat. It was ok if kinda odd. Drop a hulk from a great height and you get a dent in the road!! ...not a dead Hulk! lol
I can really appreciate the work that goes in to these big guys Chris; I swapped in my Bowen collection a few months ago and got a Bowen hulk in t the bargain. I stare at it every day.Β can only imagine how much clay it takes to sculpt one and the time and effortΒ !!
I fancy trying some sort of Big Dude myself at some point. just not sure what or who.....

Yeah, the death of hulk on the show was just plain ridiculous. Β I thought Lou looked badass bc of his added mass for the mr. olympia, but the movies weren't all that great.
Which Bowen Hulk are you referring to? Β The big characters definitely take an extremely strong armature and a little extra time, but I just dig all those characters. Β I used to just sit and stare at the art as a kid and I noticed the giant villans and heroes always brought out the best in each of the artists.

I have the Savage Hulk by K Alavi. it's immense!! and heavy! just love it. I did do a Rhino for a jam once but it wasn't great. Troy has nailed that character with his Full House physique version.
I saw Lou at a local show over here in May. A small collectors fair. My GF went nuts ; she loves ole Lou. He was her Hulk too and she got all giddy which was hilarious!! lol. It was also where is first saw a Bowen Hulk and my eyes went all Puss'n'Boots! like saucers!! ME WANT HULK!! PMSL.

Yah, that's true, in English money they were charging 25 quid so guess that is about 40 bucks. But the lines to these cats was endless. Even guys like Julian Sands.
I got a smile from the Dr Who Girls Billy Piper and Jenna C as they walked by. I couldn't believe how tiny they were. Even my lil Midget was taller and she's usually the last to know it's raining!!! lol.
