So seeing the comments, I went and googled the Syco model and omg, I just started laughing. Theirs is pathetic in comparison. Couldn't you sue them though? Since you denied them the ability to use yours and they pretty much did anyways?

haha Yeah, both the execution and the theft was pathetic. I can't sue them because I don't own the rights to the character. I just hope others see how shady these people are that were involved. Their sculpt was rejected by marvel bc they didn't buy nor confirm the rights to produce it, so either way their's is dead in the water and all is right in the world.

But don't you own the creative rights to the... if I was actually face-to-face with you just now I'd have been flailing cause I can't think of the word.
I mean I guess in court the whole rights thing...but blah... That's not fair.

Ehh...I doubt it would go anywhere and lawyers are quite pricey. Yeah, lol a big bag o' dicks...I couldn't have said it better myself! lol I definitely learned my lesson when it comes to showing a ton of my Works in progress...The cool thing about it is it gained a good bit of attention and lou saw it, so I'm not completely butt hurt about it.

I was so excited to see the Syco collectibles statue...I had no idea it was "borrowed" from someone else's work. Yours is superior in every way. I hope beyond all hopes that this will be offered somehow. I NEED this for my Hulk collection!

It's funny that you mention that. There's a lot of drama going on about this very piece of mine at the moment. A person showed my work to a company without my permission and then the company pitched the idea to Lou himself. They both went behind my back and only informed me two days before I was supposed to make a decision and sign a contract, with little to no chance to negotiate, so I refused them. How could I trust working with people like that? They copied my work and that's what you're seeing there. Considering the end result, I think I made the right decision. I'm not in this for fame and fortune, it's just a hobby that I happen to enjoy.
