But I can dream. Whether it be Carol Anne Ford or another actress playing her (maybe she regenerated), it doesn’t matter. If Susan found her grandfather, the Doctor, again after all this time, after the tragic Time War, I would cry my heart out.

This was actually what Carole Ann Ford and Peter Davison wanted for The Five Doctors, but the Beeb nixed it on the grounds of their close ages.
The execs though it would look like hanky-panky (dirty minded sods), while the actors were thinking that this is his granddaughter who he hasn't seen in 20 or more years. (Who knows with Time Lords?) So what we got was a stiff--

I think Susan needs a guest appearence sometime soon. I really wanna see the Doctor's face is he saw his graddaughter again after 50 years of the series.

I'm a fan of the new series of Doctor Who, and I'm watching the old episodes (also very good). I was sad when the First Doctor left Susan.
I would like this scene happen, and I think it could happen (maybe not with the Eleventh Doctor). I don't know what happen in "The Five Doctors" (In Spain, only the new series has been released in TV), but the First Doctor said: "One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine", and as the Eleventh Doctor said to Amy: "I always come back. Something wrong with that?".
They have to meet again, although they can't return to Gallifrey.

I too would really love to see this. It would be by far the most touching moment of the new series. I'd also like to see Jenny come back, but if we have to choose between the Doctor's one-off generated daughter and his granddaughter and very first companion, I'll take Susan hands down.

but if the doctor's granddaughter was trapped in the time war wouldn't the two meeting up again be impossible. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the doctor meeting his old companions, it just seems canonically impossible.

But he left her in the later 21st century after the Dalek Invasion of Earth. He wanted her to have a normal life, and left her to live out her days with a nice young fella, while he went off to save the universe countless times.
Surely she couldn't have found her way back to Galifrey to join the Time War.....unless she was kidnapped...

Drafted, actually. It's my understanding that they recruited all living Time Lords--and even some dead ones. They promised complete new regeneration cycles to any Time Lords who were nearing the last of their regenerations (like the Master, which means Simm!Master is technically his second or third incarnation).

But Susan isn't a warrior. The Master on the other hand would've been perfect due to his evil cunning, but being the cowardly bastard he was, he ran.
The other one is Romana, who is either running around in E-space, or was the last Galifreyan President, according to the book canon. She will probably be never seen again, much as I'd love her to come back.
I suppose it's possible, but I'm holding out that Susan eluded the Time Lords, either remaining on Earth in the future, or found a way to escape them.
