I'm sure I'm not the only person who made this comparison. Cute animals that can undertake a temporary transformation to become more powerful but still change back? Ha! Nice try!Although joking aside, I'm curious to see how the Mega Evolutions play out in battle. Many of the designs look pretty dang cool !
...And on a side note, a Digimon vs. Poke'mon game. I can still dream!

I don't see how Mega Evolution is like Digivolution, considering that in the games you have to meet certain criteria to digivolve or de-digivolve such as beating certain enemies. I can see how the optional choice to go through with the evolution might make it similar though.

Pokemon will and forever be one of my most fond memories growing up.Seeing this change for good/bad to others marks another milestone that Pokemon is alive and well up to this date.Seeing these two monsters from different shows clash together through a binding similarity sparks and brings back the old rivalry memories x3.Its been a long journey and here we are getting ready for another opening chapter in the poke franchise <3

actually ive been thinking' remember when ash got killed in the pokemon movie when mewtwo and mew fought. mewtwo and mew crashed into ash at full power somehow turnig ash to stone. When all the pokemon started crying and watnot Mew brought ash back to life and mewtwo became good.
my theory is that mew did more than brought him back to life but made ash immortal or unable to age past that point.

Actually, the in the Japanese version, its called ULTIMATE DIGILUTION the English dub made it MEGA DIGILUTION, so no ripping off from anyone!

I do admit some of the actual Digimon are pretty damn cool (especially Greymon, War Greymon and Mega War Greymon) but everything else about that show wasn't good and felt like it was trying to rip off Evangelion.

I dont know Evangelion but Digimon is a descend show with an awful english dub. I Can not blame you fore not liking it if you watched it in English but I personally found the third season Digimon Tamers is amazing.

The kids in all those seasons are terrible. The ones in season three of Digimon (there's no Tamers in the title where I am) just screamed at their Digimon to merge with them... naked! The kids are awful and Digimon as a whole could benefit without human kids. Heck, a lot of cartoons and anime could benefit without them, especially Transformers.

At least 4kids would censor the right things. Saban thought "Domestic violence and naked children are okay to show to kids". Oh! And the music is not just bad, it's jarring. It's Vanilla Ice levels of whiteness.

Yeah the english dub music is really god awful. I personally dont really care what is appropriated to children to be honest. I am 21 now. Its not my problem.Β Its actually one of the many things I love about Digimon Tamers. It is aimed to children. Its has some Children show elements but its also dark, mature and violent. Very enjoyable. I wish there would be more shows like that.
The censorship in the dub I found really dumb. Like censor Puppetmons guns ore the fact that Meyotismon (probally spelled it wrong) killed Pumkingmon and Gotsumon. I actually dont know what they censor in Tamers.Β I am glad I live in Germany. We dont have this censorship. At least we had non in Digimon. And our dub music is closer to the original and fore me personally its really good. Yeah the lyrics are a bit well... childish but its pleasant to hear.

I wish those flashbacks were cut altogether because they show parents slapping and yelling their children, children running away from home, the kids arguing and fighting with each other when they could beat those mega-level bad guys and of course when kids are naked while inside their digimon. I rather bloody violence than domestic violence and I rather if those kids were killed off and their digimon moved on and the show just revolved around them.
I hate that cynical Pokemon rip-off and I hate Haim Saban for thinking giving us that pile of crap.
