Description Drawn in Corel Painter, coloured in Photoshop Elements.

The Wolf rests on a hillside, the daylight slowly fading. Another hunt for those his employer wants captured ending. Today he got close, but they slipped away again. Especially the one with the blue furr.

In his reflection, he takes out his only possesion: a single photo. He stares at it, pondering, reflecting. A memory captured that holds hidden meaning.

Only he knows what secrets it holds. The day will end, and new one will form. He focuses all his attention on the now, the hunt, the payment, moving away from what has come to pass.

And yet, sooner or later, he pulls out this one photo and stares at it ever still.

Does the photo hold his family, or a girl?

Kekekeke I know!

This is very nice Dave. I likey.
Oh, he wants an advanced critique

If I had to say something, firstly I'm loving the hair and the pants. However the area where his tail is coming through his coat looks a little odd. I believe it's coming out the side and it's a leather coat right? (I've always assumed it was... though now that I think about it I don't think you ever told me). If so, I think the tail would displace the fabric of the coat more. The coat would be pushed more to the side and behind him. The way it's drawn now, with the fabric hugging real close, makes it look like the coast made of a very fluid material - kinda how silk would fold. Also maybe, there should be more of the front of the coat drawn as well. I mean, because you can see the upper part of his torso (near his arm) it makes it appear that there is no lapels on the coat and that it just starts right before the armpit.

Right, I hope that made sense and was helpful.

Best advanced critique ever.

Yea, the coat is meant to be leather. I've never had much practice in trying to capture how a coat or material would fold in certain positions, let alone with a furry tail on top of it. His tail comes out of a hole in the back of his leather coat, situated right above his....er.....butt. I can see, though, that it almost appears to be situated to the side.

Same with the front of the coat as you mentioned. Upon observation, yea, it probably should be drawn forward because of his arm. This also is due to my own inexperience with drawing coats, 'specially one that is intended to be fluent (much like Seto Kaiba's eleborate coat) but comfortable.

Thanks very much Gem for making a geniunly indepth comment. Considering I'm aiming to get this character on TV, the more experience and understanding I have of such details, the better.

If you cut the leather coat a bit more to allow more tail it'd probably be easier design-wise :3

Gem's done most of the work for me...it's gorgeous X3

I'll probably develop his clothing more as I do character sheets and more concept designs. Always room to improve.

Thanks Sam
