This is another from the same shoot as Eternity. I was going for a Lara Croft kind of look with her, which I will showcase more in a future submission. But, for now, here's just a straight-on portrait. Her direct gaze just pierces you.Related content

i like the color choice for background. the green/blue color compliments her skin tone well and brings out the blush on her cheeks. i also like how her lips are parted and her hair is pulled completely back. this reminds me of a fashion magazine photograph. the only things that does bother me is her chest. because of the color of the shirt and how she's positioned her right breast seems proportionately bigger than her left, which isn't the case i'm sure.

not only does her direct gaze pierce me, but it would halt me, akin to the proverbial deer in the headlights, if I were ever before her, looking like this or elsewise.
wow. I know this might sound corny (and it doesn't have everything to do with her aesthetic either, it's also the shot) but though she is stationary, and in an 'inactive' pose, there seems to be a lot in motion... if that makes any sense...
though, I could just be a deer in the headlights!

A very effective portrait, with a very active pose. This photo defines the term "Action Portrait", if you ask me. There's something dynamic in the way her shoulders are pulled back. And her gaze is just petrifying! Great choice of pose with this model. Unless it came natural from the model, in which case good choice of model

I was just going through your gallery and realised that this was the same Alisha from your 'found' shots. Maybe Im getting old but isnt it strange, in a world where youth is beauty, you can plainly see that, though she was 'cute' at 18, she is most certainly beautiful now. I know that this is not really a comment on the photography (which is great) but I couldnt help but share my thought. My fav of this series was the 'king fu' version, lovely shadow work and tone of light on the skin

Simply stunning. The best of the Alicha shots to date IMHO (although they're all pretty excellent to be honest). Her eyes almost seem to be looking through you, which makes this one stand out for me.
The lighting is also superb.

ooo - i like this a lot i like fashion photography alot, and certainly looks more or less like that. i am especially fond of the background color, not too bright but sorta lively color, i dunno...
i guess it also does have something from the tomb raider now that you mentioned it, her pose and the hair+top. and i'm not bothered by the hair clip like our friend culturalstudio i think it's a detail...
anyway the pose is great, colors nice, yeah... it looks a bit soft though, not as if it wasn't focused, but PS-work ? maybe if it was bigger ( ) i'd see it better... the other side with te shadows looks somewhat different for the very reason of being in the shadow, but i guess that's how it goes. well, maybe there could be just a hint more light on the right side but now i'm getting picky. it looks wonderful

I definitely do see a bit of pixel vixen here... but minus a few dozen cup sizes, of course. (no offense to your model, this is a crack at the Tomb Raider people.)
I like this, and it's an excellent direct portrait, but... something bugs me about her head. Perhaps it's something with the lens, but it just looks so skinny in proportion to the rest?! Meh. I'm a picky son of a... well, you get the idea.

Very cool what you did with the gradient in the background. She looks really wonderful in this, the pose is really interesting, almost looks like she's tilting forward a little and her expression is very natural, just enough and not forced. Nice job.

it is really piercing! her **** gotta be larger to have that lara croft look but thats cliche in my sense. if you had more headspace and lesser depth of field to this, it would make a great photo.

the light is very good, did you try it in BW ?
maybe the slight red tone on her left cheek would dissappear (although it's not disturbing in this one). I also like the right shoulder in blur whereas the left one is not.

Holy shit! Now thats some great photography! Her eys are indeed amazing and her shape is amazing as well. The tank is what may trigger the Lara Croft thing but I think this is more like a shot I remember of Christy Turlington, with the eyebrow slightly up, leaving the eye a tad off balance.
Nice job on the lighting and the background works extremely well. I would kill the hair clip in this shot, its an itty bitty of a distraction, or maybe im picky? +fav, agian.
