Description Ongoing series of portraits of ^ hesitation and her sister Tamara. I really like this pose. Hesi suggested it and it worked like a charm.

hesitation was right. this pose looks so fun and dynamic! but thinking about it, it seems like it would take a lot of effort and bending to pull off. it seems like they were really pleasant to shoot. this is my favorite of the series so far.

they were lots of fun to work with, and came up with lots of cool poses like this just by playing around. it's great to shoot people who are physically comfortable with each other. makes my job so easy

Nice and dynamic pose, I love it! I think my only complaint with the image is perhaps that Alina's hair, the dangling bit against the white background, has lost detail and definition. Was that due to overexposure in that area? Or perhaps in conversion and resampling? I'm SURE the 10D can pick up that detail without, erm, 'hesitation' .... LMAO!!!

Well, damn, this is really nice. It's always good to see a photo that inspires me to look at the rest of a person's work.

Great work. Love the pose as well. Great lighting, and a nice contrast with the brown in their hair and that of the stripes in the shirt.

Great shot, you're right, the pose works like a charm.
The lighting is, of course, superb.
Is that rogue hair in the bottom left corner? Looks like its sort of hanging in mid air

Great job indeed

This is my favorite of the series so far, also!
It's just something about the pose, their expression and your skill that makes this a very lovable portrait.
A fellow Deviant above pointed out a few things, but I do believe they are mediocre when looking at the final piece.
I dig this portrait a lot...just don't make them wear this kind of pattern next time around.
Or is it just me who thinks that it distracts a little from what should be the main point of focus: their faces.
Maybe I'm altogether wrong and it's just my eyes going bad!
Love this!

this is fun and imaginative. but too complicated for simple me it has anice balance. i gotta admire ur natural style, no tricks... yet i think if u'd clean up some of the hair in the left corner (the ones in front of the light) it would be just a bit better even

You really do great studio work.

Using a fixed length 105mm lens?

I think I like this one best. Both have such a nice smile on this picture. They are very beautiful!

I said it about hundred times, but I LOVE the way you arrange your lighting. What kind of lamps do you use for such portraits??

Right now I'm using my new Alien Bees B800 studio flashes. I used to use small Vivitar 283 flashguns. I usually diffuse the light through a white umbrella of some kind.
