Film Ultra Color 400iso from Kodak using K2 70-200mm at f6.7(I believe)
Used Curves to fix the blue color from the film.

I really like the saturation that you can get with Kodak's Ultra Color film - 400UC, am I right? I like the idea and it is exexcuted well, but the lighter tufts (?) of grass and the blue bit at the top distract from an otherwise brilliant photo.

Yes, it's Ultra 400UC I love that film.. I remeber the first time I looked at the photos from the film... I was like "what film did I use" I had to check twice ... My fav color films are 400NC and 400UC.
Yes, it is distracting. I was actually just messing around wiht my camera... I was testing out the 400UC and my brand new 70-200L lens and somehow this came out!...
I will look for the original scan... maybe I can do something about the color... It has been on my mind.

Colour-wise, I prefer 400VC as I've found it possible to make an image with it and make people think it was taken digitally. I have used 400UC, but I don't know whether it was the subject or what but it was too saturated for my liking. I think it is suited for fine art photography, something which I need to do a bit more of, methinks...
I think I have also used 400NC because I wanted the faded look, but for some reason when I got the prints back they looked as if I'd used 400VC.

I tried VC...did not really like it.. it's good but not for me
Love the faded look on the NC ... now that you mentioned... photo labs can screw up the development...or maybe the printing?... some times my prints come back a little to different from previous times... with the sane film type :/ .

I did a quick search on here as to what sort of results you could get with the NC. All of the photos on here were faded. Mine looked exactly like the VC. Needless to say, I was very let down.
