Description
Kalia, Sumar and Kasatka during dine with Shamu. They had just done a jump before coming over to their trainer at the acrylic (hence the bubbles).Related content

What a spectacle. Seriously, Erin, you've struck proverbeal photographic gold here! Well, in my eyes anyway. Its a unique shot in many ways. Not just the fact that you simply do not see photos of the orcas like this very often, but there is something about this that captures an orca's nature.
huh, that sounds a little airy fairy, sorry haha.
Point is, great shot.

Wow, I love this one, it remind so much of a photo SW has posted somewhere, don't know if you've seen it, but it's of Kalina, Katina and Kotar. This one reminds me so much of that one.
And I guess it's the angle, but Kalia looks so big in this one.

I was really surprised there weren't glares, especially since we were standing so far away from the glass.

Thank you
My camera tends to take blue pictures when the orcas aren't right up at the glass, but I was happy there were no glares.

Love it It has a dramatic feel to it, especially with the bubbles, but it's also kind of surreal. Kalia and Sumar look big! Or maybe it's just Kasatka looking small, as usual
Beautiful photo

Thank you
It's so funny how small Kasatka is. I always seem surprised about it.

Especially when she's next to Corky At first glance, I always mistake her for Nakai lol

At first glance I usually mistake Nakai for Kasatka. That boy looks so much like his mama.

Nice capture! I love the three of them in a row, and the bubbles really add to it.
