Description
So this will be the last revision until i can get startmenu skinning in, i think. This reduces the number of options, to keep the app simple (it does not need a kitchen sink function...), and i reduced the amount of the code (cleanup) to keep the app small and portable.
This is actually, believe it or not, a fully new re-write from the previous three. It has the ability to immedatly apply any changes that you may apply.
The new feature is that you can use PNG files as "Overlays", that is, is you have a "glass blur" png, you can right click on the image selector, choose the png file, and see it overlayed.
Unlike the prior releases, this on only has the overlays that i made with it, no base skins.
If you need a base skin, go download version 1.3 from my dA page, extract the files in to the folder where your keeping it at, and extract this file on top of the folder, so that your always running the latest and greatest bleeding edge software.
Anyway, have fun, comments welcomed, i will listen to suggestions, but remember, this will be my last release until the start menu support is added in correctly.

There is something wrong with this current version, when transparency is turned on the image is not shown at all unlike version 1.3. Also it might be easier if you converted all images included to .jpg format or make your app support .png at none of the skins provided in this current bundle cannot be read by true tran... opps taskbar texture

do you mean the the base image is not shown, or the FX Png layer is not shown? Native BMP usually has better losless color then a compressed jpg, but it can use bmp, jpg and gif as the base layer.
if you can host a pic of what your talking about and link it to me in a note, then i will see what i can do.
one reason why i re-wrote the app was because the code base was getting very messy, and subroutines and functions were overlapping, causing problems.

The files you uploaded are in png format

The other 2 pics are about the app itself, one with and the other without transparancy I also realized that base images are not shown even when transparancy is not turned on

i will look in to this further. when taskbar transparency is turned on, all of the skinning is ignored so that you may have a see through taskbar.

It works way better in 7 than in XP since the Start orb is separate from the actual taskbar. Great work!

yeah, Aero makes this app really come alive.
I am debating having the app "move" the XP start button OFF of the task bar, in front of it, like how Vista and 7 do, so that it will look better.
