Enterprise-J is still one of my favorites. I just wish Doug Drexter posted more photos of it, including a WIP with close ups.

You forgot to add the name of the Enterprise-F's captain. That andorian who I can't remember the name...

Yeah, I made this diagram before the feature episode that reveiled the captain to be Captain Va'Kel Shon.

at least you make the JJprise a reasonable size, not the absurd 725m they claim it is (or is that the faint outline version?).

One of my earliest memories as a small child was the last season of TOS on the black-and-white TV in the rec room.  So the thing I hated most about the JJtrek films was the redone Enterprise. I mean, they'd had all those beautifully done recreated sets from the crossover universe Defiant from Enterprise. I was *SO* hoping the old girl from TOS was going to be in the movies. Alas, it was not to be. It *almost* ruined the whole experience for me. Not quite, but almost. It was almost as disappointing as the horrors wreaked on my beloved Tolkein masterpiece by that Jackson fellow.

i concur: the most egregious thing being that JJtrek insists that their Enterprise is over 700m long: almost twice the length of the TOS ship and as big as the TNG Enterprise-D.

The faint outline version is the large scale version. As per the new film 'Into Darkness' the length is sadly confirmed as been around 725m. In the first film there were conflicting scenes that gave evidence with the ship been both sizes (as the decision to make the ship bigger was made whilst the film was already under production). In the new film, all scenes suggest the ship really is 725m long now. To be honest, I just wish they'd reboot the films instead of this prequel/reboot, it's just too confusing to try and get everything to make sence.

it just doesn't make sense to me that the JJprise is that big. there was this article here: [link]

there would be a crew of THOUSANDS on that 725m ship, almost the same as the Enterprise-D. i think JJ is just compensating, if you know what i mean.

Nice. I still don't buy the alternate timeline enterprise huge size. I presume the Odyssey Class is non-cannon since it's from an online game and not a show or movie. I also consider the Universe class to be conjectural since the future is never truly set in stone. But I still like your chart.
