I love a lot of your drawings, but this actually makes me think of monster hunter, I've always thought it would be cool if the bosses could come in varying sizes.
Now for the sake of it you could have it so they don't change size until you've fought them say 1 or 5 times and beaten them.
But then after that it becomes random you could get a destroyer of worlds that's half as big XD or an eye that is over half the size of the screen XD would be so cool and fun.

Gorgeous.Β Really communicates the mood when you first encounter that boss.Β It always appears too early for me to have even secured a ranged weapon, but I usually manage to squeak by.Β XD

When I first summoned Eye of Cthulhu, i was not prepared what so ever, so I soon died.
The second time I summoned him, I was well over prepared. I had built a tower up into the
sky so that my people weren't harmed during the battle. I had multiple platforms and everything
needed to beat this guy. But that was before my laptop hard drive died. R.I.P. First World Ever. T-T

Y U FIGHT EYE ON BLOODMOON? BAD idea, if you're in gold armor.
Though I wouldn't quite call the Eye of Cthulhu the FIRST test, I usually beat the Eater of Worlds before the Eye... Just saying. (Reason? Shadow Scales, for armor and the pickaxe.)
That aside, amazing picture.

btw.. I was using golden armor set, trident, enchanted boomerang, lesser healing potions to defeat this abomination!

farm slimes. the staff they have a .01% chance of dropping is beast untill skeletron

Why spend an eternity on something I'm going to easily replace when I can just move on just as easily with simple shurikens and zilch armor?
Coupled with the fact that Hornet Staff is more powerful and a whole less tedious to obtain, I find no use for the slime staff.
