I actually took him on recently, expert and enraged (smart idea), it took a last prism, mech cart and rail system going over 4 biomes in a large world, and a friend... And yet I I still nearly died

I can't believe the Duke is over two years old now. Crazy.

We just got him on console. He's by far the toughest boss, because he's the only one you can't trivialize by standing there with a decent set of melee armour and spamming vamp knives. That being said, getting his attack pattern down is pretty easy, and his own weapons slaughter him.

Yeah, i remember. I fight him with maybe last time, he is really tryharding beast, he is even worse then Moon Lord D:. Well done job with this art Suweeka ^^

i fought him with moon lord gear, and it still took longer to beat then any boss excluding moon lord, he is by far the hardest boss of that area of the game, him plantera, wall of flesh, and skeletron prime will always be the hardest bosses in those stages of the game

As zephyrus, I once said this was the only boss I couldn't beat.
Now that 1.3 is out, i laugh at the person I once was.

I really like this boss the most out of all them but my friend really over hyped this battle to me, kind of made him speechless after missing a few patches and curb stomping poor Fishron into the ground. I think I would like him even more if my buddy had kept his mouth shut but what are you gonna do? Still though, heβs the only singular boss to ever give me a run for my money and for that I salute you, ye old flying pig of doom.

My best bet of killing the duke fishron is aΒ snowman cannon and a lot of rocket IVs
