Hurray for trades! I feel so accomplished doing art for someone and liking the results. I think this might be my best work yet!
And it's all your's *Kalesta ! This is Jamjali, her lovely Thoroughbred X Quarter Horse cross. I hope you like it, enjoy!Special thanks to =DaneStables for all of her amazing tutorials. Grayscaleing was always something I thought I could never do but because of her, I can! I've grown a lot in my art since she posted them. Thanks so much! For this piece I used her dapple youtube tutorial .

What is the coat color called? Sliver Buckskin? Sorry, I have a character like this in my book, and I'm curious at what the official name of his coat color is...

I'm happen to see your comment! This is my character and finding out her coat color was really really hard. If this horse was really excisting it would have been tested, but a silver buckskin is not likely. This color can be silver dapple, or a liver flaxen chestnut. Or a sooty palomino, but most of the time sooty won't look this solid. So I decided to make her a dark flaxen chestnut.

Normally I would call this a silver buckskin, but this character is actually a really really dark flaxen chestnut. It's possible for the two genes to look similar.

Hih, I saw your comment and it was really hard to give her color a name. I even asked a horse color specialist and she said most likely a dark flaxen, or a silver dapple. Silver buckin was unlikely she said. Also sooty palomino was possible but mostly sooty palomino's aren't that solid and even. More like darker area's of the body. I even bought a horse genes book specially for this mare haha.
