Description
hmm, thermonuke reactions in a sun like star, and a whole lot of magnetic fields, and a lot of plasma to streak across... . . and a few nearby planets to be roasted hehehe!!!made using the Gnu image manipulation program (gimp)'s flame rendering feature. I always fancied rendering solar flares and prominences using this feature as real solar plasma too, move in filaments.
Thanks , i hope u liked it

I'm a definite fan of your work. How do you implement the plugins so well?

Wow, looks to me like something big's just crashed into a star causing the massive burst or something. love the effect.

Very cool, erm... hot.
Either way, this is awsome. Ilike how it's not just a circle with lines streaking around it, very vibrant. Nice job ^^

This is incredibly badass; any chance of seeing it in 1600x1200 resolution?

I think the star itself lacks substance, leaving it looking somewhat more of a mess then it should
