EDIT - This tutorial doesn't work anymore with Eclipse, since I made this in 2011. Sorry I'm inactive on dA and not sure how thumbnails work now.EDIT - This tutorial is a little outdated since it was created before the "Share buttons" existed, but it still works. I'll update it with newer images when I have time.

To find thumb codes now:
1. Go to deviation
2. Find the "Share buttons" to the right that have a Note, Facebook, Tumblr, & Twitter, then click the down arrow
3. Copy the code under "Thumb"
I made this mostly for the directions in :thumb174033030: Ooo look, another thumbnail! Let me know if you have any questions!

For those who are having trouble and posting thumbs on messages.
Without membership: You can only use thumbs on your page, not in text/message.
With membership: You can use thumbs on your page and text
For example in text only for PMs:

Putting thumb in text and comments will work on premium members..
Normal users can use thumb only on their profiles.. Aww I want to be a premium

I think it's for when you want to use a pixel icon on a custom box, but not on comments because it worked on my custom profile page box

Ugh I can't do it! I'm trying to use a stamp in a descrition for a devation of mine and while I'm still writing it, the stamp shows, but when I click on "preview" it doesn't work! And I fear the same will happen when I upload it! Help please!

You can hit "Preview" instead of "Submit Comment" to test it out first, instead of sending me a comment notification. ;)

Someone please help me! I'm trying to do just as this says, but the stamps just won't appear 👍: 0 ⏩: 2
It's really strange. I'm trying to put these stamps in a description for my artwork, when I 'preview' the description, the stamps show - but when I submit, they're gone.
Are you still having this problem? If you can, can you send me a link to a deviation where it won't show up? Just make sure you have less than 6 thumbs, since dA won't let you have more than 6 in one deviation. c:
