EDIT - This tutorial doesn't work anymore with Eclipse, since I made this in 2011. Sorry I'm inactive on dA and not sure how thumbnails work now.EDIT - This tutorial is a little outdated since it was created before the "Share buttons" existed, but it still works. I'll update it with newer images when I have time.

To find thumb codes now:
1. Go to deviation
2. Find the "Share buttons" to the right that have a Note, Facebook, Tumblr, & Twitter, then click the down arrow
3. Copy the code under "Thumb"
I made this mostly for the directions in :thumb174033030: Ooo look, another thumbnail! Let me know if you have any questions!

Ahh sorry about that. :( I don't have an ipad and therefore can't test it out myself to see what's wrong. But that's probably an issue that dA and/or Chrome has with compatibility. But if you use thumb codes, they should still show up when you view them on a computer or other device.

Yes what I did was that I typed in the code and copy and paste the code on my profile setting on my profile

I think I"m cursed... I copy and paste the thumb code into my deviation description, but it still remains as a thumb code...

Yeah I haven't been on dA much recently but it seems that they've now disallowed thumbs in deviation descriptions (although you can use them elsewhere). We're all cursed! :p

you have to have premium membership to use it in a art description, non-members can only use it on journals/boxes on pages! eue
