By request, a wax cut tutorial- which strikes me as funny that it's my first tutorial, since I don't think myself super wonderful at waxforms. I'm better than it looks like in the images, though- my camera's not the best. Regardless, it gets the point across.Time: For the makeup, 10-15 minutes. Putting together the tutorial took considerably longer. XD

I've had limited success with scar wax over eyes with this method, just because the wax does separate a bit when it's moved around a lot, and a face moves QUITE a lot. I've done better with leaving it like "scars"- not cutting it open and using blood, but even that I'm not very good at.
A deviant named Guirnou has a few tutorials that use different cut/scar methods than I do, and they seal things down a lot better. I suggest you try her. She's fabulous.

That is truly sick - which means you did really well! Haha, I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't real while reading the tutorial.
Does the wax stick as well if you're doing this someplace a little more elastic, like on a neck?

And to your question- it definitely will stick fine initially, but then as soon as you move it around it'll start to wrinkle up/try to move with your skin. I've had limited success with waxforms on necks- I wouldn't include any makeup remover there to help it stick.

Very cool. My partner and I like zombie-themed stuff, so I was thinking that getting some purple/bluish wax and making fresh zombie-wounds would make for a KILLER halloween costume.
... although maybe not for the kids' trick-or-treat night. I think we'll stick to cat-ears and angel wings for that. XD
