Description Wheee, I finished colouring my entry for ~inu-aku-kitsune 's contest, and I love how it turned out Was lots of fun, plus by ref-ing from the Whippet AKC show standard I got to work out some minor flaws in my whipp anat. So that was cool Yay to dogs, especially sighthounds especially whippets xD

And I know I didn't really need to put in all the colours and words, but I like to give things aesthetic appeal

Any of you recognise the lovely lady here? Yep, it's Windy, aka JPnFr Desert Snow's Dance on the Wind, my sweet little whipp from Furry-Paws. She's by trade a Frisbee dog, but I decided to let her have her share of the limelight here. I've been wanting to do a full-body pic of her for a while now anyway, so I could play around with her markings I adore parti-colour.

Aww, thank you so much for your kind comments But all this art you've been looking at is practically two years old! I have much newer and better stuff in there

Awesome work! Your dog pictures are great! Whippets are beautiful...but oh so hard to draw! You've mastered the anatomy by the looks of things!

Heh, whippets and sighthounds in general are actually easier for me, since I've been drawing them for almost ten years already, since I got my Italian Greyhound It actually took me longer to get the hang of other breeds! Thanks muchly for your comment

Windy placed, which isn't bad. Lost out to the Standard Poodle.. but it was a well-deserved win.. just go look at the entry.. O_O

How pretty! She has a nice stance and walk. Her face is very sweet too. I really like the shadowing, and how the ribs are showing The anatomy is perfect. 'Tis beautiful! Great job
