Some people do, but to me they just remind me of home (I'm from Southeast Asia, attending college in the USA) and that's why I made a movie about them.

this is awesome! great animation and the story is so sweet <3 love the little blue/gray monkey and the pangolin! this is probably the first time I've ever seen an animated movie with a pangolin in it, great job! may I ask how long it took to make it?

Thank you! I think you should look at and learn to appreciate as wide a variety of art/animation styles as possible, though -- I regret not doing that for myself earlier. This was done on 24 fps which is my preferred rate.

Yup, Its always fun to look at the different styles of animation. I'm actually a sophomore in college as an applied computer graphics major. I have a bunch of animations under my belt but its sort of a hassle to upload them onto here, although I did upload one. ANYWAY, great job again and thanks for the best wishes

I personally don't like them much either but being from Southeast Asia, durians are something that represents home to me. Studying abroad, you miss home, and that's why I chose to set my story in SE Asia with durians.

Our main character must use a lot of hair-spray - the wind doesn't move his fur a bit here!
That aside, your animation in this peice is gorgeous. The nose crinkle at the beginning is where you started to win and you just kept on winning.
