Another German Shepherd breed template pic, I've been asked to draw quite a few GSDs lately. As a result I'm getting more and more used to them.. this one was done without refs form-wise (I used a few different ones for the markings)
EDIT: Reuploaded because the commissioner wasn't happy with the font. Hopefully this one will go down better.

Just pointing out, the paws should be bigger. Can't imagine how a dog of that size could have such tiny paws. >w<
My (white) shepherd has huge paws...o_o; It's cute when she trips over them. She's 12 weeks old, so you get a little puppy flopping around the house...xD

They are, but you know, they anotamy is slightly different, like the tail ALWAYS hang down.

They're essentially the same species, but I don't think wolves are just another 'breed' of dog. They're untouched by people, have been for a long long time.
They also essentially have the same anatomy, and they both use their tails to communicate. I don't think either 'always hangs their tails down'.

They might not curl, but it doesn't mean they always keep them down.

Yea, it might have said that they hang down when they aren't agressive... I think, but I have no idea what it said. Just a guess.

Cool! The name 'Logan' for a German Shepherd reminds me of Wolverine from the X-men comics and the movie. LOL! I think it really suits him! Great work!

I love how show German Shepherds stand. Their hindlegs lay low and my mom doesn't like it too well they walk, but I think it's georgous. I'm SO glad you portrayed that well. ^_^

The markings and colors look a bit odd for a german shepperd... they're generally more orangegoldish, with a brown-to-black saddle, no?

You're probably right, but I've seen some pretty pale ones in my time. There's even a completely cream version. And I don't like to make my darks -too- dark, or you can't see the expression

I've always wanted to breed a golden retriever and a gsd, cause... they're both incredibly trainable dogs... and I think it would make the best police and blind dog ever. o_o; *shot* xD

No I didn't, there have been some GSDs I've seen with the dark markings and a very light tan part, so my colours are pretty alright I think.
Well, you could always develop that as a new breed xDD

Yes o-o I think it would be fun to breed dogs. |D And fewwets, I wanna breed them too. But I dunno if I'm good enough, cause ya, I would be worried of messing of the gene pool like them dudes did with the rottweilers and mastiffs x-x;

Yeah, same with me.. I wouldn't go there either, it's just too risky and irresponsible if you don't know what you're doing. The Goldne Retriever has also been damaged as a breed because of irresponsible breeders.. of course there are some jokers who would anyway just to get money for puppies D<

There's buttons on the keyboard, near the top. The ones with the little sun symbols. Or you could just tilt the screen forwards, that's the quickie way xD
