I've been working on some Hyksi-based fiction lately, since I want to get started developing all of my characters more, and it made me want to start drawing Ryvarda art again. I did some headshots of Hyksi characters I like, just for fun - I like how they all turned out pretty much :3 hope everyone likes them too. I want to draw more Hyksis and Fearaki now!

These are neat! I love the facial expressions and the colors. :3 Meadowsweet is my favorite out of these and then Hellebore's face kills me. XDD Priceless.

The Ryvarda RP board will be open soon enough once Opal finalises the map of Ryvarda and gets the areas set up. Then perhaps we can RP some Hyksis!

Hey, it's only natural that you'll feel for some boards more than others. I haven't yet found a board that I feel for as strongly as I do for MG, but well -- you've seen how attached I am to my characters. I think maybe species has something to do with it, the ones you are drawn to -- hyksis certainly are closer to horses than dogs and cats are! xD Though as you can tell I feel a lot for Ryvarda and my hyksi and fearaki characters as well, so I am excited as all getout for the board to open!~
AND AND. I've been RPing Darran and Nel on the Amitola board. Are they going to meet Marara at some point?

Yeah very true, very true. But I can't give up Isadelle at all! I'm very attached to Isadelle and her powerfull little personality.
Ah the Amitola's, I've been lightly talking about that with CricketWings, I think I may head over there sometime in the near future so I can get Marara out in all her youthful glory! Actually in the sketch book I have sitting next to me I have a picture I drew of Mar, Nel and Darran..but its quite tacky and the anatomy is a bit squ-iffy, and its got waaaay too many pine trees and purple mountains...

Interesting creatures. I would make one but I can't draw deer/rabbits for beans. Meadowsweet is my favorite! I love her design. Like one of those spotted bunnies.

I don't see the weasle. is it the fangs? because chinese water deer have tusks so...it could be anything in my eyes.

Thank you! They're not deer though, they're Hyksis ;3 which are deer/rabbit/weasel hybrids. So their anatomy is very different from a true deer's :3

Dee has told me that she really wants to have a Ryvarda RP board at some point, which would be very awesome I agree. But unless everyone keeps up the Hyksi/Fearaki fever, that won't happen, so... WE MUST KEEP DRAWING THEM.
I've actually RPed my Hyksis with ~MAxKhaos 's before, and since our Hyksis are intertwined we've worked a bit on their stories too. I've also done some writing on my own on my character journal, if you want to read it it is here: [link] ^^
