swift-whippet — I need a hug

(sketch version)I'm fine now, but was feeling rather... blech. a few days ago =_=;
I guess sometimes I just need a hug and nobody's around, so I hug myself. I'm not really sure which 'me' I am in this picture. I think it's a bit of both. I was just in one of my weird emotionally-tangled moods that have no explanation or reason to occur, and in moments like that I just want to hug something because there's nothing to say. I wasn't even sure whether I want to comfort or be comforted, and again, I think it was a little of both. if all that makes any sense. (and I miss doghugs. I always went to pet and cuddle Bella when I felt like that back home - and she'd always let me, even if she didn't feel like it - but she's not here now.)
Technical details: This is my fourth attempt at this picture, and obviously my favourite. I attempted several experiments with Swift's pose, and the only thing I kept constant was her tail curled around my butt. because yeah. we're inseparable like that.
I also realised I couldn't ever draw anthro-Swift with either human me or quad-Swift. the idea of that weirds me out no end.

The warmness, sadness and emotion just popping out of the picture like hurricane! I'm sure that someday-soon you'll find someone best in the world to hug you, you must be loved, you deserve it. That's great you're feeling better now. Don't give up. I know that sounds stupid, but everything is gonna be okay.

but really, I don't want someone like that right now. (especially after what's happened in that area thus far... 'nuff said =_=; ) I'm not lonely for anyone, I love my friends and my roommates... this is why it's really hard to explain this picture. I don't even know why I was emotionally anxious, I just was. it's times like those that I just need to hug something. I could always hug my dog back home when I felt like that but she's not in college with me so I can't

aww Swiftie, you can ALWAYS note me if you need to get something off your back, or if you just need some reassurance. I will always answer quickly, and will never give a grudge. It really hurts me when people I love are upset, and even if you think it's not, it IS bad to keep your troubles inside you, so i'm glad you have drawn a beautiful image to vent. Writing your thoughts down is good too, so I am dead serious, If you ever, EVER feel like you just want to talk to soemone, I am conviently here. And the nice thing about it is, no one has to know, people that you are aquainted with in real life wont know, so you can feel safe in confiding anything with me. I am true to my word, and it means a lot to me to help those i love, especially when I know what they're going through. And I'm especially squishy to hug

Nah, this was me in one of my weird crappy moods when I feel emotionally anxious and am not altogether sure why. It's times like those that I just need to hug something, because there's nothing to talk about. yeah, I'm odd. (and my dog is so far away so I can't hug her. I miss doghugs.
