It was surprisingly hard to pin down Kyouya - he was the last one to be decided, anyway. I think because I already had Tamaki pegged as a Golden Retriever that I kept picturing a black Lab when I thought of Kyouya, which obviously doesn't really suit him xD And I like to keep hair and coat colours similar, so I was going through a list of big black dogs in my mind, none of which felt right until I hit Dobermans. so yeah. DobieKyouya. yay.

I've only seen a few episodes of this series, but as far as I can tell, you picked really excellent breeds for each character, not to mention they're drawn very nicely. In fact, most of the breeds you picked would have been the exact same ones I would have chosen f I drew these guys.

Haha, thanks! The Pomeranian and the Husky were picked by Bisco Hatori herself. the rest just seemed to fall into place quite easily. I liked a lot of stuff about the show but to my mind the comic was better.

I don't know. o.O he's not my character. also, Taka and Vitani are some kind of African language, no? Swahili if I''m not wrong. Kyouya is Japanese.

Lol, I coincidentally started thinking of what type of dog Kyouya would be, and the first thing to pop in my head was a German Sheperd. Secondly was the Doberman. *grin*

For some reason a rotweiler pops into mind more often for Kyoua... But Dobermen's are lean andnot as muscular as previous but still tough.. So I guess it fits.

heh, I'm a mix of sorts, Pap's are my abesolute favorite small dog but they're SO expensive @_@ I don't think I'd ever be able to afford one... as for the dobes, they're pretty cheap if they don't have their tails docked and their ears cropped, which I think makes them look so much cuter X3 so they took the roll of fave breed

Haha yeah, tail docking and ear cropping doesn't seem to affect the dog in anything but appearance, so I don't mind them either with or without ^^ This guy is supposed to be really well-bred, though, so I thought it was appropriate to give him docked tail and cropped ears when I made him a dog ^^
I love Paps too D: I want to have one someday... if I can afford it ._. he'd be company for my whippets and IGs that will no doubt be running the house xD
