just finished getting the icons up, fwee. God loves a non-sporting dog too, for they be a most awesome motley crew. :3Finished Groups: Non-Sporting, Terrier, Working, Sporting, Herding, Toy.

Lovely picture, but I cannot understand how Finnish Spitz can be in a NON-sporting group since it's anything but non-sporting. It is not a companion dog, but a working type dog that is actively (read=only, as far as I know) used for hunting and is bred to bark so much you cannot have one in the city.

Search me. Poodles, contrary to popular opinion, are originally working retrieving dogs too. So are Dals (carriage dogs), shiba inu (hunting), shar pei (guard/fighting dogs) and so forth... makes you wonder, doesn't it?

My favorite group of all! They're all a melting pot of unique breeds. I have a Bichon Frise, and the one shown looks similar to my Blanca.

The non-sporting group is indeed a lot of fun! and all Bichons look quite similar to me x_x; but then I haven't really been around the breed very much! They seem sweet little things though

I agree, they do. Trust me. And Bichons are sweet, but mine in particular acts like a human and is a bit of a diva since I spoiled her as a pup.

Thanks! Nope, at the time of making, I was only doing AKC-registered breeds. I was planning on opening requests, but I just don't have the time or inclination right now. :/ Sorry. maybe someday.

I love your definition of the non-sporting! though I think it's a bit of a silly place to put the standard poodle personally, but I love the variety in this group.

I think the placement of the Siberian Husky in the "working group" is pretty questionable as well considering that they're not actually used as working dogs. Oh well...

Oh no, I do like Bischon.
If that came off as mean I'm very sorry.
It's just, when I see Bischons, at least the ones in shows, and the one I had owned, they're more poofed out.
The one in your picture, it's fur seems jsut very gangly, if that's the word I'm thinking of, compared to some.
But some do look like that as well.
I do love the picture though and I didn't mean to criticize.
