just finished getting the icons up, fwee. God loves a non-sporting dog too, for they be a most awesome motley crew. :3Finished Groups: Non-Sporting, Terrier, Working, Sporting, Herding, Toy.

well I don't think non-sporting means they aren't athletic. to say that any dog breed is unathletic is really not very accurate. except maybe the Toy breeds because they weren't bred for work, but even so, nowadays many toys participate in Agility, Flyball and other activities.
the UK calls it the Utility Group. that's somewhat less misleading. xD

Ooh, lovin' the Shiba. There was one at the dog park, and she and my own dog raced for a while. xD My dog was aware enough to avoid crashing into people (he's about...80 pounds?), but the Shiba kept tripping people up. SO funny. xD

Awww!!! I love the Finnish Spitz and Shiba! Granted, Terriers will always be MY favourite breeds, but these guys are cute to. ^^ Did you happen to watch the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving? It was AWSOME! I'm so glad the Aussie won, she was gorgeous!

I actually only like Toy Poodles, but since this wasn't the Toy Group, I didn't put that.
I never liked poodles until I got one. My Moses (RIP) converted me! Mosey was the bestest doggie! I always joke that I'll forever have a "vicious" pit bull walking along beside the "precious" toy poodle. People will walk down the street beside me and shy away from the Pit Bull when they should really fear the Poodle. XP

what orginisation's groups do you go by? or do you make your own? I tend to make my own lol if I think something is in one group that I think should be in another I will change them around lol I should start my own kennel club.

I go by the AKC. these groups are all legitimate. they go by different names in the UK (like the Non-Sporting group would be called the Utility Group), but they're essentially the same groups. the UK arranges the dogs slightly differently, though - the Bichon is in the Toy Group in the UK, and it's in the Non-Sporting Group in the States.
