A while back I told ~Winzer that I'd make her Jessie a mate, so here's Rafe. I called him that because I like the name and it doesn't get used nearly as often as it should. He's a border collie as well because I enjoy drawing them and ya gotta admit, same-breed couples are cute. I had a lotta fun with this guy, blue merle isn't a colour I see a lot in characters so I put that in. I tried to make his design similar to Jessie's in that it's a natural border collie colour/markings with bright touches, and I'm quite pleased with the results. Hope ya like him Winzer! :3 (feel free to accessorize him as you see fit, by the way, accessories are so not my strong point. I just stick random bandannas and collars on things xD)Related content

I don't even know if my sentances make sense anymore, but it is 3:50 in the am hours and my mind is frazzled about how much i adore you and your art and the fact that you actually made Jessie a boyfriend. A damn hot one at that too. Very damn hot.
Rafe is the greatest name in history. Or one of them. And it seems to fit his image perfectly. Like a glove. How sad are my metaphors becoming. They aren't even metaphors. They are similies. I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Not to mention that I love blue merles beyond a shadow of a doubt. I don't think I've ever seen a blue merle border collie, but then again I haven't really looked. Nonetheless, it's amazing on various different levels and they will make the most amazingly hot couple. so hot that maybe the earth cannot handle them and only the sun can. oh lord help me, the early morning hours fry my mind like freezerburnt fishsticks and make me say these lame things.

Whoo. He looks like a bootiful blue merle Aussie Shepherd. *luffs them* I love the coat patterns and the adorable tuft of hair of his head. Gorgeous. I'm gonna fave this, even if he really isn't an Aussie Shepherd...but Border collies are great too.

Haha.. nah, you're right. But this was a ref pic only, and the bandanna was added as an afterthought, so I pretty much just stuck it on him. If this was supposed to be a proper picture and not just a ref I'd probably have redrawn the bandanna and given him some shading too

Yeah, you don't really see blue merle a lot in border collie characters (or in real life for that matter).. and it's such a lovely shepherd colouration. Methinks I like drawing furtufts a little too much
