Figured I should hustle and get = Smoulder 's half finished since she did me such a supremely sweet picture of Merah for her half
So here she is, Smoulder the black leopard. I hope you like it, she was very fun to draw and CG
Felid anatomy is starting to grow on me after all. I had the hardest time adjusting at first, as I'm more familiar with canids, but lately I've found I'm getting the hang of felines.. I think. I had a lot of fun with the background; I am so so happy I found that brush! Ever since my Painter died on me I've been missing my digital painting fix.. and now I can do it on PS!

I really love her pose and her spots, they're incredibly realistic- how much time did it take you to get those spots down? o.o The only thing that's a bit odd is the background- Leopards live in the Jungle, Cheetahs live in the Savannah XD

Leopards live everywhere, really o.O although yes, panthers do live in the jungle. but eh. At the time I was too young and stupid to be bothered with biological accuracy. not to mention too lazy to draw trees. xDD

Haha, our director of the musical only has two palm trees on the entire backdrop for joseph, and it looks so empty o.o and some cast member hit the rope in the back, and it started dancing during the calypso XD But we don't even have tree shadows o.o

This is so awesome o0o I love how you drew her, she looks so perfect! Such amazing anatomy, looks like quite a tricky pose to pull off aswell. You're really awesome with facial expressions, and I love how you made her ears all fluffy <3 I was really suprised when I noticed you'd made her paw pads white, most people seem to miss that part XD; Her tail looks so flicky in this o0o You could just imagine someone pulling on it making her fall out the tree XDD; I love the background in this aswell, it's very painty!

Haha, it's somewhere between the smooth brushes and the fluffy brushes I think.. and it's default size 19. Heh. That's in Photoshop 7.

Oh wowzer! I lurve this one! The casual layin' back in the tree is awesome! I love the detailling in the tree too, you captured that nicely! I love big cats, this one is just gorgeous!
