redux of this picture [link] , Pilgrim style. done partly just for kicks (Shap is Gio's evil ex, that's why he keeps attacking me o:!) and partly as a 'fuck you I make my own' to the Scott Pilgrim avatar creator that I keep seeing everywhere recently.

Okay I haven't seen any of the Scott Pilgrim stuff yet so I don't know if that would in any way affect my enjoyment of this picture, but just going by the idea/artwork itself I think it's great!

I don't think it matters at all! *radiomaru is the creator of the original comic books, and his gallery's a lot of fun to look through. I just thought the idea was amusing and the style would be fun to try on for size! thank you, I'm glad it's appealing to the eye

lol this is great. So Manny is Gio's evil ex? lol I guess that makes Brian the ultimate evil ex. Very cool pic. I like how you stylized it and the flames came out pretty nice.

Movie was a lot of fun! some of the oldschool gaming references might go over your head but I liked that they seemed to make a lot of filmmaking decisions based on how the books were.
I actually liked the animated short more than the movie, but then again I may be biased

I saw it the weekend before last and really, really loved it. Some of the gaming references probably did go over my head but it was so fun and awesome anyway.

The movie was a lot of fun, I didn't enjoy it as much as some of my buddies did namely because I'm not really a retro gamer (really I hesitate to call myself a gamer at all), but I did enjoy it a lot, and liked that it was so much inspired by the storytelling style of the books. I've only flipped through the books and they seemed fun and quirky too, I'd love to read them all and see what I think then.

If you're into the oldschool Nintendo type stuff, I think you'd get a kick out of all the references they put into the movie at least - including a lot of sound effects and music! I've also played the downloadable game with my pals on our friend's PS3, and that was a blast - pixel'd 2D sidescroller beat 'em up, what's not to love?
