Really the best piece of advice I can offer you is study real dogs/photos. I'd take a book to fully explain everything, but your best bet is just drawing lots and studying the actual animals. Let me know if you want anything of yours critiqued, and thanks for the compliments

by pitbull you mean the american pitbull terrier. there is no breed called pit bull. pit bull is a term used to catagorize the three simialr breeds of the am pit, the am staff and the staffy

I have had terriers my entire life, and they are really the smartest dogs and the most entertaining dogs I've ever seen.
When my husband was gone for the first year of our marriage in the military, he bought me a jack rat from the pound, and that dog gave me so much joy and took away that huge gap of nothingness in my life until my husband got back. I didn't have a car, and my friends and family never came to see me, so that dog was my constant and only companion for a whole year.
Unfortunately, the effing stupid neighbor we had had a bunch of pit bulls and beagles that she didn't bother to train or keep in her own yard, and they killed him one day while my dog was outside in my yard.
Terriers hold such a special place in my heart. The pictures you drew were so right on target with these breeds, and I had to hold back tears.
RIP Weezer Beezer Laird. No person in this world could hold a candle to the wonderful friend and companion you were to me.
