Description commission for ~balloonpup . finished this quite a while ago, actually, but I figured now was an opportune time to upload it. this picture was a fantastic digipainting learning experience and I had a ball working on it. I love doing something that's a change for me.

happy halloween. I had a great time this weekend. :D

This is fantastic, swift! I love the gummy/rubbery look to both the characters, it makes me want to nom nom nom them up. Except I doubt either one would taste very good (though I daresay ms. alien is going to know very soon what batdog tastes like. D

The lineart is what strikes me most about this picture - it's very smooth, consistent, and clean! I don't know if this is a new lineart technique/style, or if I just haven't been paying close attention to your latest pieces, but I love this lineart style. Beautiful job with the smooth coloring and lighting! The drool especially is very well done. This picture is just an all-around great example of excellent technique!

I am glad you noticed the lineart because I'm actually really proud of it in this picture. I was really making an effort to make the lines look great and I am super happy that it shows! I definitely take more care with my digital inking now and I hope to do more in this vein.

I like the way you've captured the sliminess of the creature's body. The tongue kind of reminds me of the sandworm from the film Beetlejuice.

I must confess that I haven't seen many of his films, but probably the only film he made that really interested me was the 1989 Batman film. Some of the other Tim Burton films I'm seen are just too "fairy tale-ish" for my liking.

OMG, I love this. Beautiful job on the coloring, I just love this to bits. Although the giant pink creature is scary, she's also very lovable for some reason. Just plain cool. Nice job on the saliva as well!
